And I did just that....I went & joined a gym today. Im no stranger to the gym environment, I have been going to them for years but its been about 18 months since my last membership. The last gym I went to was amazing, it was a very expensive women's only gym and I did personal training sessions 2-3 times a week along with 2-3 of my own cardio sessions in the lead up to my wedding. I wasnt in perfect shape but my fitness & strength were at their best they have ever been. The downfall was the opening hours, they were pretty limited. The gym ive joined today is a 24/7 gym which is great for being a shift worker. Its nothing fancy and is unisex but it definetely gets rid of the excuse that I have no time. I had my orientation & free personal training session today and god its been awhile since I used those muscles! They have written out a plan for me to do but I usually like to do my own thing. I dont like being told what to do, I have to listen to my body and do what it wants to do. But im definetely happy to be back in a gym and working out.

Hmm lunch today is a vegan 'cream' of asparagus soup which I made myself from one of my new vegan cookbooks. Its so easy to make, and im going to try the same concept but with mushrooms instead this week. Yum! Oh and its a rainy day! Nothing better then a 'creamy' soup on a rainy day :)
